Elias is a botanist searching for purpose when he accepts a research position at the decaying, isolated Carmilla's Orchard. A forgotten Victorian estate swallowed by its own landscape, the Orchard is home to a rumored rare species: the night-blooming apple, the Malus nocturna.

The Matriarch tree that dominates the West Block is not merely a plant; it is a consciousness, a vampiric entity that feeds not on blood alone, but on assimilation. As black bark scars his skin and emerald-green veins begin to pulse beneath his flesh, Elias must choose: fight or surrender to the ultimate dark romance.
